Some more pix

Hi! What a day. It's 7:40 pm and Jack and Avery are fast asleep. And Lori's getting there.

Jack cried at times today but for the most part, everything went perfectly. You can imagine how scared and confused he must have been today. But Lori's been just amazing with him, and Avery has really surprised me with how incredible she's been with him. She's going to play a huge role in helping him get adjusted. And I've never been more proud of her.

Tonight after we got him, we just hung out in the hotel room, played a little and ate dumplings for dinner. Jack ate a dumpling, some apple sauce and roughly 200 puff balls fed to him by Avery.

Strangely enough, I can't see the pix that Lori posted earlier so some of these at the bottom might be repeats.

Thanks for all the comments and emails. We read every single one and love and appreciate all of them. And all of you.

  8. He looks like he is fitting right in and Avery is stepping up as a good big sister. Hopefully the trip continues to go well. I'm sure there are many differences and many similarities from 7 years ago.

    Mike and Lori,

Oh, my goodness! He's PERFECT!!!! I'm crying along with everyone else--SO HAPPY FOR ALL OF YOU! Lori, that last picture of you holding him in the car totally broke my heart. You are such a good mommy! And Mike, I love the shot of you holding him in your lap with that big smile. What a blessing Avery is going to be for him. HOORAY for the Morrison Family of Four!
